Elmira College is moving forward with a multi-sport turf field – an exciting opportunity that will not only enhance the College’s athletics, but also support enrollment and retention efforts, and support mental and physical well-being on campus as identified in the College’s 2023-2028 Strategic Plan

Please help us jumpstart the Turf Field project with your generous philanthropic support. Initial funding is needed to ensure that the project has the maximum positive impact on new student enrollment and retention for the fall 2024 term and for years to come. We are thrilled that the project will increase our athletic offerings – bringing back men’s and women’s lacrosse teams as well as serving as the on-campus home field for field hockey and men’s and women’s soccer – and support mental and physical well-being on campus for all students through increased recreational and intramural opportunities.

Every gift matters on this important and transformative on-campus construction project. Please consider making a gift or pledging your support today!

Rhonda Faunce, Director of Athletics

“The building of the field will ultimately provide a better quality of experience for our students whether they are athletes or not. It will bring a great deal of energy and activity to campus with increased intramural initiatives for all students. This is a win for the entire EC community.”
